William Blitch

Mr. William L. Bill Blitch, 57, of Walterboro, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at Colleton Medical Center.



Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will be at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, S.C.



Mr. Blitch was born on January 6, 1953, in Fort Bragg, N.C. and was a son of the late Joseph Henry Blitch and the late Roberta Breland Blitch. He was employed with a traffic analysis company, served in the United States Air Force, and was a member and praise leader at the Church at Charleston.



Surviving are his brother, Joseph R. Blitch of Charleston; his sister, Elizabeth A. Blitch of Columbia; his nephew, Jay Blitch of Summerville; and his great nephews, Dakota Blitch and Cameron Blitch of Summerville.
