Mrs. Wilhelmina Benton Vinczi, age 90, wife of the late Mr. Stephen John Vinczi, entered into rest early Friday morning, November 7, 2014, at her home on Pine Grove Road in the Hudson Mill Community of Ruffin.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:30pm Sunday afternoon, November 9, 2014, from Pine Grove Baptist Church No. 1, 99 Pine Grove Road, Walterboro. The Reverend Ken McCaskill officiating. Interment will follow in the churchyard.
The family will receive friends prior to the funeral ceremony beginning at 1 oclock in the church sanctuary.
Born March 11, 1924, a native of Colleton County, she was a daughter of the late James Berkley Benton and the late Earline Estelle Bishop Benton. Wilhelmina was a devoted housewife who loved her family dearly, always placing their needs and wants above all else. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church No. 1.
Surviving are: three sons, Stephen B. Vinczi of Ruffin, Johnny D. Vinczi and his wife Janice of Ruffin, and Dale W. Vinczi of Lexington; three brothers, Kenwood Benton, Al Benton, and Ray Benton; and a sister, Mary Edna Wilson. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, June Vinczi Smoak.
