Wayne Markley

WALTERBORO" Mr. Wayne Earl Markley, 73, of 405 Black Street, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Colleton Medical Center. He was the widower of June Kuceda Shillingburg Markley



Funeral services will be held 11 oclock, Friday, November 6, 2009, at Welch Creek Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday from 10:30 am until the hour of service at the church.



Mr. Markley was born September 30, 1936 in St. Luke, Virginia and was a son of the late Edward and Claire Markley. He was a retired truck driver, having worked at Blue Ridge Poultry, Aileen and Southeastern Container. He was a member of Welch Creek Baptist Church.



Surviving are: his son, Ronnie W. Markley and his wife Patricia of Edinburg, VA; sister, Carole Coffman of Woodstock, VA; stepchildren, Patricia Lynn Dunlap of Walterboro and Joseph Sewell, Jr. of Walterboro; 2 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
