Mr. Ronald Watson Carter, 77, of Ehrhardt, entered into eternal rest Saturday evening, December 21, 2024, at his residence.
Born December 24, 1946, in Union, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Ronald Sinclair Carter and Frances Meggs Carter. He served his country faithfully in the South Carolina Army National Guard for 27 years. He was a member of Ehrhardt Baptist Church.
Surviving are: his wife, Vonona Player Carter; children, Heather Carter Pulaski of Greenville and Ron Watson Carter of Ehrhardt; grandchildren, Christopher Brian Long of Ehrhardt, Justin Watson Long of Aiken, Lindsey Pulaski Brunson of Nixville, Trey Pulaski, Brian Kyle Carter of Ehrhardt, and Carly Jessica Carter of Ehrhardt; and great grandchildren, Ivy Jae Brunson of Nixville and Ryder Lee Carter. He was preceded in death by his daughter Jill Blanche Carter.
Funeral services will be held 2 o’clock, Sunday afternoon, December 29, 2024, at Ehrhardt Baptist Church, 427 Allen Street, Ehrhardt. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery, Lodge Road, Ehrhardt.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon prior to the service beginning at 1 o’clock in the church sanctuary.
