WALTERBORO " Mrs. Wanda Lanelle Sparks, 48, of 205 Poplar Street, Walterboro, died Saturday morning, August 23, 2008, at her residence.



Funeral services will be conducted 11 oclock Wednesday morning, August 27, 2008, from Jones Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church, 320 Jones Swamp Road, Walterboro. Entombment will follow in Glendale Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.



Mrs. Sparks was born March 26, 1960, in Rockingham, North Carolina and was a daughter of Doctor Jackson Williams and Mrs. Lidy Juanita Carlisle Hartley. She had attended Jones Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church and will be remembered for her love and devotion to her grandchildren, as well as her love of flowers, nature and gardening.



Surviving in addition to her father of Orangeburg and her mother of Allendale, are a son, Gary McClung of Walterboro; a daughter, Betty Christina McClung of Moncks Corner; her companion, Todd Eric Morris of Walterboro; and two sisters, Christina Bonner of Columbia and Betty Paulette Burgess of Myrtle Beach. There are five grandchildren, Shawn W. Creese, Coty Creese, Senie Jessie Christine Driggers, Clayton Driggers, IV, Julia Madline McClung that also survive.
