Virginia Rivers

Mrs. Virginia Ann Mizell Rivers, 47, of Altman Road, Hampton, entered into eternal rest Friday, March 19, 2010 at Hampton Regional Medical Center.



Funeral services will be held 3 pm, Sunday, March 21, 2010 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel. Interment will follow in Rivers Cemetery near Brunson.



Mrs. Rivers was born July 20, 1962 in Dorchester County and was a daughter of the late Daniel Leon Mizell, Sr. and Tressalee Taylor Harley. She will be remembered for her love of her pets and flowers, but especially the love she had for her Lord and her family.



Surviving are: her husband, Samuel Eugene Rivers; children, Angela Harris of Summerville and Brian Wagers of Harleyville; stepchildren, Chris Mock and Shannon Rivers of Barnwell; grandchildren, Amber Wiles, Ashton Wiles and Cayden Harris, all of Summerville, Bradley Wagers of Elloree, and Nicholas Rivers, Kayla Mock, Little Carn Long and Clint Mock, all of Barnwell; sisters, Annie Mixon of Grays, Margie Clark of Monks Corner, Dannette Judy of Rock Hill and Terrie Jackson of Neeces; brothers, Dan Thomas Mizell and Dan Leon Mizell, Jr. of Dorchester; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Mary Kirby, Ann Kirby, Holly Kirby and Karen Rivers.
