Virginia Cummings

Miss Virginia Catherine Cummings, 45, of 12068 Ashton Road, Lodge, entered into rest Sunday afternoon, April 14, 2013, at her residence.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Wednesday morning, April 17, 2013, from Carter’s Ford Baptist Church, 8774 Lodge Highway, Lodge. Interment will follow in the family plot in the churchyard.

Born February 23, 1968, a native of Colleton County, South Carolina she was a daughter of Mrs. Louise Kinsey Cummings and the late Mr. John Willie Cummings. She was a member of Carter’s Ford Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her mother of Lodge are: two brothers, Joseph Lewis Cummings and his wife Janet of Chapin and James Matthew Cummings of Simpsonville; and a sister, Emily Cummings Cope and her husband Ken of Prosperity. There are five nieces and nephews, Alex Cummings of Columbia, Abigail Cummings of Powdersville, Kinsey Cummings of Inman, Lauren Cope of Prosperity, and Jon Lawson Cope of Prosperity that also survive.

Flowers will be accepted, or for those that wish, the family has suggested that memorial contributions be directed in her memory to: Carter’s Ford Baptist Church, 6507 Lodge Highway, Lodge, South Carolina 29082.
