Mr. Victor Garcia Arredondo, Sr., 79, of Poling Lane, Round O, entered into his eternal rest Saturday evening, December 29, 2012, at his residence.
Born July 26, 1933, a native of Mexico, he was a son of Jose Arredondo Aguilera and Demetria Garcia. He emigrated from Mexico and achieved naturalized U.S. citizenship for himself and his family. He sacrificed for his familys well being through very hard work. He was regarded as an exemplary employee at the Moline Corporation for 27 years as a plant worker. He was a man of integrity and wisdom. He was loyal to his country of citizenry, The United States of America. He was of the Roman Catholic faith.
Surviving are: two sons, Javier Arredondo and Victor Arredondo, Jr.; and three daughters, Dolores Holter, Thelma Boyas, and Cristina Leyva. There are eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as his former wife, Anselma Arredondo that also survive.
