Vicki Lyons

Mrs. Vickie Marlene Lyons, age 57, of Walterboro, entered into rest Tuesday evening, August 30, 2016, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.   She was the wife of the late Danny Lyons.

Funeral services will be conducted 4 o’clock Sunday afternoon, September 4, 2016, from Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, 5277 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.  Inurnment will follow in the churchyard.

Born May 14, 1959, in Colleton County, South Carolina she was a daughter of Mrs. Norma Jane Beach Lyons and Mr. Parker Lyons.  She was a member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.  Vickie dearly loved her family, and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.  She possessed a huge heart and was always willing to help those she could.

Surviving in addition to her parents of Walterboro are: three sons, Keith Hunt of Walterboro, Daniel Adam Lyons of Simpsonville, and Mason Dixon Lyons and his wife Kay K of Walterboro; six brothers, Dean Litchfield of Walterboro, Lucky Beach of Beaufort, Sidney Beach of Walterboro, Thomas Grayson of Walterboro, Allen Peters of Smoaks, and Pat Peters of Walterboro; and a sister, Sonya Nettles of Walterboro.    There are seven grandchildren, Preston Lyons, Skylar Lyons, Raylen Lyons, Christopher Hunt, Alexa Hunt, Ava Hunt, and Olivia Hunt.
