Vernon Tolle
August 28, 1942 — June 2, 2016
Mr. Vernon Leslie Tolle, 73, of Ehrhardt, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. He was the husband of the late Joyce Howland Tolle.
Born August 28, 1942 in Greenfield, Ohio, he was a son of the late Glenn Tolle and Leona Long Tolle. He was a retired maintenance mechanic at Carolina Visual in Smoaks. He was a member of Colston Branch Baptist Church and loved playing the drums and singing. Most of all, he will be remembered for the love he had for his family.
Surviving are: his daughters, Stephanie Hiers and her husband Alton of Ehrhardt and Jannelle Goforth and her husband Scotty “Butch” of Bamberg; grandchildren, Marvin Rahn, II, Kristen Hiers, Aaron Hiers, Lacey Kinard and her husband Wade, Karley Sauls and Jeremy Goforth; great grandchildren, Desireé Rahn, Trinity Rahn, Kylie Hiers, Summer Hiers, Aubreigh Kinard and a great grandson on the way; and a brother, Ronald Tolle of Greenfield, Ohio. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Tolle and Henry Tolle.
