Vernon Mosandel

Vernon Gene Mosandel, 58, of Walterboro, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Lexington Medical Center.

Born March 6, 1965, in Westfield, New York, he was a son of the late Charles Louis Mosandel and Gladys Tooker Mosandel.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing when he could.  He loved his family and was always a protective brother.

Surviving are: his wife, Retha Floyd Mosandel; children, Veronica Mosandel of Florida, Vernon Gene Mosandel, II of Florida; step-daughter, Jessica Matthews of New York; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte Winningham of Walterboro, Cindy Burns of Walterboro, and Irene Mosandel of New York; brother, Morris Mosandel of Walterboro; and several nieces and nephews.
