Mrs. Vernelle Collins Jones, 76, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Oakbrook Health Center in Summerville.



Funeral services will be held 11 oclock, Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Bedon Baptist Church Cemetery.



Mrs. Jones was born May 6, 1932 in Walterboro and was a daughter of the late Daniel Mc Queen Collins and Louise Colson Still. She was the widow of Anthony Lee Jones, Jr. and was a member of Bedon Baptist Church.



Surviving are: her sister, Frances Lewis of Summerville; nephew, Billy Lewis and his wife Carolyn of Walterboro; nieces, Judy Dondero and her husband Ralph of Walterboro, Susan Rumbold and her husband George of Hollywood and Louise Rogers and her husband Sandy of Easley; and many cousins.
