Mr. Troy Stephen Bunton, 47, entered into rest Wednesday evening, March 18, 2015, at his home on Augusta Highway in Smoaks.
Born June 18, 1967 in Florida, he was a son of Mrs. Frances Sykes Bunton and the late Randolph Frederick Bunton, Sr. Troy was employed by the South Carolina Voc Rehab Center in Walterboro with aspirations be become a Veterinary Assistant. He had also for many years, been a cook at the Waffle House in Walterboro. He loved fishing and the outdoors and on many occasions you could find him frying fish and cooking for others. He centered his life arou nd his family and will always be remembered for the love he possessed for his daughter.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Smoaks are: his wife, Mrs. Lynn Blevins Bunton; a daughter, CeAnna Bunton of the home; three brothers, Randolph Frederick Bunton, Jr. of Soperton, Georgia, Charles Dennis Bunton of Wiggins, and Timothy David Bunton of Wiggins; and a sister, Judy Vinluan of Smoaks. There are two step-daughters, Rebecca Cunningham and Nancy Cunningham both of Ohio as well as eight step-grandchildren that also survive.
