Mr. Tony Clifton Pinnix, 72, of Walterboro, entered into rest Tuesday morning, January 31, 2022, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Brenda Herndon Pinnix, who was the love of his life.
Born December 5, 1949 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Clifton Thomas “C.T.” Pinnix and Lucy Mae Cockerham Pinnix. He was the owner of T&B Masonry and was a long-time truck driver with the handle “White Knight”. He was a member of Great Swamp Baptist Church. He was an avid NASCAR, John Wayne and Carolina Gamecocks fan. He enjoyed fishing, annual trips to the beach and enjoyed shooting fireworks on New Years Eve. The Holidays were always special to him, especially Christmas and he always made sure his family was given to abundantly.
Surviving are: his children, Chrissie Johnson and her husband Lennie of Walterboro, Karen Kinard and her husband Keith of Walterboro, Glenn Pinnix and his wife Michele of Round O, Amanda Walton Garrett and her husband Reverend Andrew Garrett of Walterboro, Tina Walton and her husband Freddie of Grover, and Candace Pinnix-Stone and her husband Billy of Walterboro; grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Bridgette, Joshua, Hunter, Taylor, Dillan, Annabelle, Willard, Angel and Gabriel; great grandchildren, Parker, Alden, Lathan, and Cason; dear friend, Florence Nettles; adopted daughter, Deanna Jackson; sisters, Vickie Bonner (Bobby) of Walterboro, Janie O’Quinn (Benny) of Walterboro, Wanda Mitchell of Spartanburg; sisters-in-law, Diane P. Melander and Joyce Bennett; brother-in-law, Buddy Herndon; close contractor friend, Ben Dantzler; and his “right hand man”, Gary Shaw.. He was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Pinnix; and sister, Carolyn Pinnix Davis.

Funeral services will be held 11 o’clock, Saturday morning, February 5, 2022, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. A private family interment will be held at Pinnix Cemetery.
