Mr. Tony Wayne Pfeffer, Sr., age 58, of Ruffin, entered into rest Saturday evening, June 11, 2022, at his residence.
Born July 29, 1963, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he was a son of the late John and Inez Brown Breland. Tony possessed a strong work eithic and logging is all he has known his entire life. He was employed with Rice Land and Timber. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his children. In earlier years, he took great pride in planting his yearly crops.
Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Jean Mixson Pfeffer; four children, Brittany C. Johnson (Kerry), Lindsey Pfeffer, Tony Pfeffer, Jr. (Scarlett), and Justin Pfeffer (Summer) all of Walterboro; two brothers, Danny Edwins and Michael Edwins; a sister, Janice Alger; and six grandchildren, Lee Hadwin, Mason Hadwin, Bailey Johnson, Carter Johnson, McKenzie Pfeffer, and Elijah Pfeffer. He was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Edwins.
Funeral services will be conducted 10 o’clock Saturday morning, June 18, 2022, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The Reverend Dr. Jack Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Bedon Baptist Churchyard, 2410 Cottageville Highway, Walterboro.
