Mrs. Toby Deloris Stone, 75, of 602 Klein Street in Walterboro, entered into her eternal rest Saturday afternoon, September 26, 2009, at Bavview Nursing Center in Beaufort.



Private funeral services will be conducted from the graveside at Lake View Cemetery in Lake View, South Carolina.



Mrs. Stone was born December 22, 1934, in Lake View, South Carolina and was a daughter of the late Franklin Benjamin Elvington and the late Ila Lane Merrell. She was a retired employee from the payroll and accounting department of Hill-Rom Incorporated, a Hillenbrand Industry. She was of the Baptist faith and possessed a love of playing a good round of golf, and good hand of cards, and always enjoyed a piece of inspiring music. She enjoyed visiting and socializing with people and was an extreme Stingray Hockey Fan " always having her seasonal box.



Surviving are: her son, Franklin Benjamin Stone of Walterboro; two brothers, Richard Lindall Elvington of Missouri and Joe Otis Elvington of New Jersey; a special cousin, Robert Earl Elvington and his wife Melissa of Columbia and their children, Kaitlin and Jacob; as well as two aunts, Florence Howell and Cherry Atkins.
