Timothy W. Smith

Timothy W. Smith, 63, of Walterboro, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at his residence.

Born November 5, 1959, raised in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late James Earl and Alice Marie Smith. He was enlisted in the U.S. Army for six years and later became a HVAC technician for over 20 years. He retired in 2012 and spent his time fulfilling his favorite hobbies. He loved motorcycles, music and most of all his family who was very dear to him.

Tim truly lived life to the fullest and never failed to put a smile on your face. He never knew a stranger and was loved by all. He was wise and known for his honest goodwill and was a hard working man who enjoyed helping those around him.

Surviving are: wife, Kathleen K. Smith; three children; one brother; one sister; eight grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.  He is predeceased by his first wife and son.

A memorial service will be held at  4:30 PM  Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the Brice Herndon Walterboro Chapel. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation following the service.

A reception will be held following the service at Barrell House Grille, 104 Robertson Boulevard in Walterboro.
