Thomas Lane

Mr. Thomas Marshall Lane, Sr., 57, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Friday, January 6, 2023.  Born January 26, 1965, in Charleston, he was a son of the late Tommy Marshall Lane and Sarah Anna Westbury Lane.

If you knew him, you knew that there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his children.  He was a God-fearing man that had his own relationship with the Lord. He was a loving father with a gentle soul and soft heart.  He had a great sense of humor and loved to tear up a dance floor.  He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing.

Surviving are: his children, Amber Hearn Nightingale (Jason), Marshall Lane (Amanda), Hannah Lane (Dillon), Brandon Lane (Tracey); and seven grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald E. Lane and Tommy David Lane.

A memorial service will be held 11 o’clock, Saturday morning, January 14, 2023 at The Brice Herndon Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel.  The family will receive friends for a time of visitation following the service.
