Mr. Thomas Wilkins Nations, Jr., 71, of Early Branch, entered into rest Thursday, March 10, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort.
Born June 9, 1944 in Greenville, he was a son of the late Thomas Wilkins Nations, Sr. and Annie Lee Smith Nations. He served his country faithfully in the United States Marine Corps, having been in Vietnam. He retired as a Supervisor in the spinning room from JP Stevens. He was a member of Spirit of Life Ministries and loved hunting, fishing and especially taking care of his dog, Kane.
Surviving are: his wife, Barbara Ann Thames Nations of Early Branch; children, Crystal Nations of Greenville, Thomas Scott Nations of Greenville, and Theresa Stephens of Dorchester; sisters, Carolyn Marla of Greenville and Margaret Parler of Greenville; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Marla and Gail Rice.
