Thomas Harwood

Mr. Thomas Earl Harwood, Jr. known by all as “Tom”, age 73, of Ruffin, entered into rest Wednesday morning, January 22, 2025, at his residence.

Born July 10, 1951, in Atlanta, Georgia, he was a son of Thomas and Laverne Harwood.  He served faithfully in the United States Marine Corp and was a flight readiness technician at Boeing.   He loved the outdoors and was always working on something or building something.  His favorite was being on the water in his boat.

Surviving are: his wife of twenty-two years, Terry Waddell Harwood; six children, Chris Harwood (Gretchen), Leslie Johnson, Kenny Roberts, Michael Roberts, Jennifer Askew (Paul), and Joel Roberts; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
