Thea G. Chester

Mrs. Thea Gertrude Chester, 79, of Cottageville, South Carolina, entered into rest Thursday, October 24, 2019, at the Colleton County Medical Center.   She was the wife of the late Andrew Jackson Chester, Sr. Born March 7, 1940 in Berlin, Germany, she was a daughter to the late Wilhem Blisse and Margarite Steur Blisse.

To her family she was a beloved Mom and loving Mother to six children.

Surviving are her six children, Tina Smith (Jason) of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, Jerry Chester-Griffin (Matt) of Athens, Ohio, Maryann Moore (Randy) of Berlin, Maryland, Andrew Jackson Chester, Jr. of North Charleston, Roy Chester of Cottageville and Kenneth Chester(Sheila) of Stockdale, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren and four Great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Hans Jurgen Blisse and Gerry Blisse, and sister, Rosemary Thomas all of Berlin, Germany.
