The Reverend C. B. Easterlin. Jr., 76, of Vidalia, Georgia, entered into rest Monday evening, February 3, 2014 at the East Georgia Medical Center in Statesboro, Georgia.

Funeral services will be conducted 10 o'clock Friday morning, January 7, 2014, from Ailey Baptist Church, Ailey, Georgia. Interment will follow that afternoon at 2:30 at the graveside in Live Oak Cemetery, South Jefferies Boulevard, Walterboro.

Born September 26, 1937, a native of Walterboro, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Clarence Bissell Easterlin Sr. and the late Gladys Herndon Easterlin. Reverend Easterlin was a well beloved and respected Southern Baptist minister who received his formal education from the University of South Carolina and New Orleans Baptist Seminary. He served numerous pastorates in South Carolina and Georgia, for the past few years has served as the Senior Pastor of Ailey Baptist Church in Ailey, Georgia. His most favorite pastime in life was motorcycle riding. He was a member the Christian Motorcycle Association, Statesboro, Georgia Chapter where he served as the chapter's Chaplin.

Surviving are: his wife of fifty-three years; Mrs. Sara Elliott Easterlin and a son, David Michael; Easterlin and his wife, Faith of Charleston, South Carolina
