Mr. Terry Dexter Jones, affectionately known as “Bull”, 54, of Hendersonville, entered into rest Saturday morning, December 25, 2021, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.
Born May 13, 1967, in Walterboro, South Carolina, he was the son of Thomas A. Jones, Jr. and the late Mary Beverly Jones. He was a longtime employee of CSX Railroad and will always be remembered for his strong work ethic. Terry was a gifted carpenter who was always doing something and enjoyed the constant challenge of taking on projects. An outdoorsman, Terry was an avid hunter and loved boating. He was a sports fan. In his earlier years, he played travel softball and high school football. He also was quick to jump on a tractor and was always up to do anything that was related to his tractor. The last several years, as Terry began to mellow, he played well the role of Santa Clause and took a true delight in bringing joy to both children and adults as he spread the joy of Christmas to others. In the irony of his passing on Christmas Day, he will know forever be, Santa.
