Tammie Reeves Rogers

Mrs. Tammie Reeves Rogers, 57, of Pensacola, Florida, entered into rest Friday evening, August 9, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida.

Born May 14, 1962, in Walterboro, South Carolina, she was a daughter of Mr. Daniel Fairey Reeves and the late Mrs. Ruth Lenora Bozard Reeves.   She was a graduate of Walterboro High School, Class of 1980, where she was active in the Chorus having  participated in All State Honors, and was a member of the Band of Blue.  After making Florida her home, she worked at Sacred Heart Hospital Ann Baroco Center in Pensacola, Florida where she was a Film File Clerk.    She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church in Walterboro.  Tammie centered her life around her loving family and possessed a special love for her yellow lab, “Maggie”, who crossed the rainbow bridge on July 19th.  She loved baking and being on the Florida coast.

Surviving are: her husband of thirty-eight years, Mr. George Randolph “Randy” Rogers; her father, Daniel Fairey Reeves and his wife Sarah of Walterboro; two children, Kevin Randolph Rogers and his wife Jennfier of West Pensacola, Florida and Kelly Camille Rogers Norton and her husband Travis of Pace, Florida; a sister, Gail Reeves McCormack and her husband Bucky of Walterboro; three grandchildren, Kolt, Bryson, and MaKayla; a brother-in-law, Mike Rogers of Charleston; and three nephews and several nieces.

Funeral services will be conducted 4 o’clock Friday afternoon, August 16, 2019, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.   The Reverend Dave Buchanan officiating.  Interment will follow in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Wire Road, Branchville.
