Ms. Sylvia Jean O’Quinn, 78, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Saturday morning, January 13, 2024, at Trident Medical Center.
Sylvia was born May 28, 1945, in Walterboro and was the daughter of the late Elmer O’Quinn and Trudy Thompson O’Quinn. Sylvia had a great sense of humor and a great personality. She loved her family and spending time with them and loved going on walks. She will always be remembered as bubbly, loud and funny.
Surviving are: her nieces and nephews, Kim Moody, Kelly Rhoden, Julie Long, Wendy Kinard, Mark Clifton, and Wally Clifton; and many great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sara Clifton; brother, Wallace O’Quinn; and nephew, Mike Clifton.
The family would especially like to thank the staff of the Coastal Center of Ladson for the care and love they have given Sylvia through the years. She made an impression on each of them and truly loved them as her family.
Graveside funeral services will be held 11 o’clock, Wednesday morning, January 17, 2024, at Live Oak Cemetery, Jefferies Boulevard, Walterboro.
