Sybil M. Bacon

Ms. Sybil Mary Bacon, 76, of Lexington, entered into eternal rest Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Veteran’s Victory House in Walterboro.

Born December 14, 1948, in Taunton, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late James Bacon and Sybil Eliza Potter Bacon.  She served her country in the United States Army during Vietnam. She loved the Lord and went to college to become a Chaplain.  She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and crocheting, and especially loved watching the birds and working with her flowers.

Surviving are: her daughters, Sybil Robertson of Lexington and Sonia Silva and her husband Matthew of Columbia; brothers, Donald Bacon of New Braunfels, Texas and Alan Bacon of Surprise, Arizona; and seven grandchildren.
