Ms. Susan Gilmore Taylor, 55, of Walterboro, died Wednesday morning, February 4, 2009, at Saint Josephs Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 oclock Friday afternoon, February 6, 2009, from Bethel United Methodist Church, 16147 Lowcountry Highway, Ruffin. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Taylor was born October 7, 1953, in Hawaii, and was a daughter of Mrs. Betty Jean Ulmer Donnelly and the late Roy W. Gilmore. She was a registered nurse having worked for Colleton Regional Hospital and Oakwood Health Care Center. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church " Ruffin Charge and had taken classes in Architectural drafting. She loved traveling and sports of all kinds.
Surviving in addition to her mother and step-father, Ted C. Donnelly of Ruffin, are: her son, Joshua Christoph Taylor of Walterboro and a brother, R. Wayne Gilmore of Simpsonville; as well as, numerous cousins and extended family.
