Sullivan Tindal

Mr. Sullivan Tindal, a World War II veteran, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at the Veteran’s Victory House in Walterboro, at the age of 94.

Born September 20, 1925 in Grays, SC, he was a son of the late Sullivan Tindal, Sr. and Lillian Davis Tindal.  He served in the United States Army and retired from the construction business as a road supervisor.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Fern Self (Don) of Hardeeville, SC, Brenda Derhammer (Roy) of Savannah, GA, and Carol Jean Eck (Dave) of Athens, GA; 1 son, Barry Tindal of Athens, GA; sister, Patricia Patterson of Santee, SC; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a special friend, Joyce Young of Myrtle Beach, SC.

The family will receive friends during a time of visitation Saturday afternoon from 12 until 1 at The Brice Herndon Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 3 pm, Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive, North Charleston, SC 29405.
