Stroman Nettles

Mr. Stroman Nathaniel Nettles, 77, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Saturday evening, January 14, 2023 at Veterans Victory House in Walterboro.

Born January 3, 1946, in Walterboro, he was a son of the late Laurie James Nettles and Elizabeth Crosby Nettles Lyons.  He served his country in the United States Army and National Guard.  He was a retired carpenter.

Surviving are: his son, Mitchell Nettles of Smyrna, Georgia; grandson, Drake Nettles os Douglasville, Georgia; nieces, Lynn Hudson of Ruffin and Tammy Wingo of Bluffton; and a nephew, Ricky Valentine of Walterboro.  He was preceded in death by a son, Nathan Nettles; and sisters, Beatrice Thomas and Lois Bazzle.

The service will be held privately at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery in Walterboro.
