Steven Michael Belfiglio

Mr. Steven Michael Belfiglio, 71, of Yemassee, entered into rest Monday evening, August 12, 2019.

Born April 9, 1948, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Thomas Joseph Belfiglio and the late Catherine Marie McAndrews Belfiglio.  He served our country in the United States Army and was a recipient of the Silver Star.  He was a driver and mechanic in the transportation industry.  He was of the Roman Catholic faith.

Surviving are: two children, Steve Mooney and Brittany Belfiglio; a sister, Kathy Lyons; and two brothers, Gary Belfiglio and Bobby Belfiglio.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning, August 21, 2019, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes, Varnville-Hampton Chapel.  Interment will follow at 12 noon with military honors in the Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort.
