Steve T. Pinnix

Mr. Steven Thomas Pinnix, 73, of Walterboro, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 at Trident Medical Center.

Born November 6, 1946 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Clifton Thomas Pinnix and Lucy Mae Cochran Pinnix.  He was the owner/operator of SP Trucking.  Steve loved NASCAR racing, watching westerns, and racing go carts.  He loved traveling to the Smokey Mountains, but most of all, loved spending time with his family.

Surviving are: his daughter, Kim Pinnix of Walterboro; son, Cory Crosby and his wife Jaclyn of Summerville; brother, Tony Pinnix of Walterboro; sisters, Vickie Bonner and her husband Bobby of Walterboro, Janie O’Quinn and her husband Benny of Walterboro, and Wanda Mitchell of Spartanburg; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews that he loved dearly.  He was preceded in death by a sister Carolyn Davis and her husband Doug.

The family would like to thank Dr. Sheta and the staff of Fresenius Dialysis for the care they gave to Mr. Steve.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock, Saturday morning, November 16, 2019 from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.  Interment will follow in Great Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, Great Swamp Road, Walterboro.
