Mr. Stephen Barry Hiott, age 83, of Royal Oak, Michigan, entered into rest Saturday, August 22, 2026, at his second home in Walterboro, South Carolina.

Born June 8, 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of the late Cleveland Hiott and the late Bess Cross Hiott. He was a plumber/pipefitter for Ford Motor Company.

Surviving are: his wife of sixty-four years, Mrs. Sally Elizabeth Cross Hiott; one son, Stephen Hiott; three grandsons, and one great-grandson.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Sandy Dam Methodist Church, 3422 Charleston Highway, Walterboro, with a reception following.
