Shirley Barnes Varn

Mrs. Shirley Ann Barnes Varn, 84, of Walterboro, entered into rest Friday afternoon, November 28, 2025, at her residence following a brief illness.   

She was a devoted homemaker, who centered her life around her loving family, and was the wife of fifty-five years to the late Mr. Grady Matthew "Grits" Varn, Sr.  

Arrangements for her funeral service in the Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel in Walterboro and burial at Live Oak Cemetery are incomplete at this time and will be announced Monday.
