Mrs. Shirley Crosby, 66, of Brittlebank Road, Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 22, 2011 at her residence.

Mrs. Crosby was born August 31, 1945 and was a daughter of the late John Cornelius Crosby and Sarah Roberts Crosby. She loved hunting and especially loved fishing with her best friends; but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are: her husband, James R. Crosby of Walterboro; children, Stuart Crosby and his wife Krysten of Walterboro, Laura Lynn Crosby Eustace of Charleston and Michelle Crosby Call and her husband Harold of Cottageville; brothers, Mendell Crosby and Doctry Crosby; sisters, Mary Ann Pellum and Patricia Bennett; grandchildren, Brandon Crosby, Amanda Beach and Randy, Zoie Crosby and Casey Ferguson, Seth Oertli and Whitlee, Luke Crosby, Dustin Call, Aleha Crosby; great grandchildren, Ethan Beach, Jayden Beach, Michael Fraser, Noah Fraser, Jace Oertli; special friends, Della Robertson and Mary Ann Dupré©.

The family would like to especially thank Tiffany, Allison, Pam and Erica for the loving care they have given Mrs. Shirley during this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SPCA or to the Alzheimer's Association.
