WALTERBORO" Mrs. Shirley Linder Cooper, 76, of Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro, entered into her state of eternal rest Monday, January 11, 2010, at Colleton Medical Center. She was the widow of the late Donald R. Cooper.



Funeral services will be held 2 oclock Thursday, January 14, 2010, at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church with Reverend K.B. Mack officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ryan W. Lamb, Riley W. Lamb, Joseph C. Ellis, Jacob C. Craven, Charles Cummings and David N. Bristo, Jr.



Mrs. Cooper was born December 22, 1933 in Colleton County and was a daughter of the late Lewis M. Linder and Maggie Beach Linder. She was a retired secretary from the South Carolina Highway Department. She was a lifelong member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.



Surviving are: her sisters, Margaret L. Symynkywicz of Woonsocket, Rhode Island and Harriett L. Craven of Walterboro; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark L. Marvin; and three sisters, Marion L. Deloach, Lennis L. Ulmer and Lois L. Mertins.
