Shirley Ormond Blackley

Mrs. Shirley Ormand Blackley, age 79, entered into rest Monday afternoon, October 10, 2016, at her home in Walterboro. She was the wife of the late Mr. Lewis Timothy Blackley.
Born April 29, 1937, in Greenwood, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Allan and Anna Adams Ormand. She retired from the Naval Base at Jacksonville, Florida where she worked in their security department. She was of the Episcopal faith. Shirley possessed a dear love for her family and grandchildren. She truly enjoyed gardening, was a passionate reader, and had a very special place in her heart for animals.
Surviving are: her children, Bob Pratz of Maryland, Michael Pratz of Walterboro, Dale Pratz of Atlanta, Georgia, Cheryl Pratz of Atlanta, Georgia, Patricia Pratz of Jacksonville, Florida, Pete Blackley of Jacksonville, Florida and Aaron Blackley, of New York; a sister, Patricia Nelson of Arkansas; fifteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Ormand.
