Sherry Dail Paul

Mrs. Sherry Hill Paul, 68, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Friday, August 23, 2024, at her residence.

Born June 30, 1956, in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Ray Hill and Mildred Inez Collins Hill.  She was a member of Welch Creek Baptist Church.  She was a wonderful cook and baker.  She enjoyed color by numbers and loved animals, rescuing many over the years.  Most of all she loved her family and was a devoted mother and foster mother.

Surviving are: her husband of 19 years, James Paul of Walterboro; children, Christopher Dail (Christopher Wiebe) of Seattle, Washington, Shawna Marie Paul of Walterboro, and Amber Guerra (Elmer) of Walterboro; brothers, Bennie Ray Hill of Florence, Cedric Hill (Terri) of North Charleston, and Kim Hill (Tina) of Goose Creek; sister, Melba Strickland (Randy) of Ladson; grandchildren, Alicia and Izabella; and a dear friend, Cherie Wadford of Hanahan. She was preceded in death by her first husband Donald Dail.

Funeral services will be held 11 am, Friday morning, August 30, 2024, at Welch Creek Baptist Church, Welch Creek Road, Walterboro.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
