Sherry Lawson

Mrs. Sherry S. Lawson, 59, of Cannon Road, Round O, entered into rest Monday morning, September 30, 2013, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 o’clock Friday afternoon, October 4, 2013, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Churchyard, 7345 Jefferies Highway, Walterboro.

Born July 4, 1954, a daughter of the late Henry Wesley Lewis and the late Edna Mae Loucks Lewis, she was a native of Charleston, South Carolina having made Round O her home for the past eleven years. She had worked for Evans Rule in North Charleston wherever during her tenure had worked in several aspects of the company to include printing, quality control and inventory. She was an active member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Walterboro where she was willing to serve and help in any area her need was present. Sherry will always be recalled as a loving wife and great friend to many that loved her grandchildren and pets dearly.

Surviving are: her husband of fourteen years, Mr. Charles Ray Lawson; three daughters, Lisa Boggs of Summerville, Savannah Southers and Madison Smith both of Buena Vista, Virginia; and a sister, Wanda Lee Castamore of Fairhope, Alabama. There are four grandchildren that also survive. She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Preston Lewis; and a sister, Joyce Elizabeth Edens.
