Biography

Mrs. Sherry Cail Bell, 59, of Rum Gully Road, Islandton, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm, Saturday, April 23, 2011 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Peniel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Bell was born August 14, 1951 in Millen, Georgia and was a daughter of the late Sollie and Lena Mae Willis Cail. She was a beautician for many years, having worked at Mademoiselle's in Hampton. She then became a Certified Nursing Assistant and began working at Colleton Courtyard, where she truly loved and cared for each of the residents. She was a kind and generous person who always did for others before she did for herself.

Surviving are: her husband, Newton "Buddy" Bell of Islandton; daughter, Jenifer Elaine Bell of Islandton; grandson, William Anthony Seprish, who was the apple of her eye; step children, Cheryl Dianne Padgett of Edisto Island, Linda Kay Grant of Jacksonboro and Newton Ray Bell of Clinton, Mississippi; step grandchildren, Stephanie Lynn Rizer, Melanie Elizabeth Bell and Joshua Ray Bell; and a step great grandson, Thomas Avery Rizer.
