Mr. Shawn Todd Murray, age 56, known by all as “Shawny”, an incredible husband, father, and friend, entered into rest early Friday morning, June 26, 2026, at Roper Hospital on Calhoun Street in downtown Charleston following a brief and sudden illness.
Shawny, a man so full of life who never met a stranger will forever be missed by his beloved wife, Ashleigh and beautiful girls. Shawny was the owner of Walterboro’s iconic Murray Transport as well as Murray Home Center.
Arrangements for his funeral service are incomplete at this time and will be announced Monday by Brice Herndon’s Walterboro Chapel, 843.538.5408.
