Mrs. Audrey Sharon Walker, 80, of Walterboro, entered into rest Sunday morning, August 16, 2026, at her residence. She was the loving wife of the late James Reginald Walker.

Born April 20, 1946, in St. George, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Raymond F. Collier and the late Audrey Beatrice Hughes Hicks. Sharon was a floral designer and had retired from Walterboro’s iconic Gladys Murray Flowers. She centered her life around doing for others, which brought her the greatest joy in life. She was a great Southern cook and will always be remembered for her love of art, sewing, painting and drawing, as well as music and gardening. A member of the Walterboro Church of God, she was also an avid follower of Billy Graham.

Surviving are: a son, Bradley Scott Walker of Walterboro; a daughter, Joy Cook of Walterboro; and two grandchildren, Joseph Pellum (Hayley) and Savannah Leigh Walker Cook of Walterboro. She was preceded in death by a son, James Gregory Walker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o’clock Saturday morning, August 22, 2026, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The Reverend Brody Pope officiating. Interment will be held privately at Glendale Memorial Cemetery.
