Shane Smyly

Mr. Shane Bragg Smyly, 59, of Round O, entered into eternal rest Monday evening, June 22, 2026, at his residence under the care of Crescent Hospice. He was the husband of the late Kathy Gruber Smyly.

Born August 23, 1966, in Colleton County, he was a son of Dorothy Bragg Smymy and the late Mongin McTyre Smyly. He had been a Foreman for Mitchell Construction.

Surviving are: his mother of Moore, South Carolina; his daughter, Sherrie Lynne Smyly; his fiancé, Kay Grant; sisters, Tina Smith and her husband Conrad and Joy Preveaux and her husband Brian; and two grandchildren.
