Mr. Scott Chassereau Stanley, 66, of Hampton, entered into eternal rest Sunday evening, September 14, 2025, at his residence.
Born March 12, 1959, in Hampton, he was the son of the late Junior Hastings Stanley and Edna Chassereau Stanley. Scott retired in January as a Facilities Manager for Electrolux. He was also a corporate real estate agent. He was a member of West End Baptist Church.
Scott was a man who could blueprint a business strategy by day and rebuild an engine by night. With a brain wired for tech and hands built for grease, Scott bridged two worlds most people keep separate. He’s the one who would debug your code, streamline your workflow, then tune up your ride for good measure. Whether he was leading a team through digital transformation or restoring a vintage carburetor, his mindset was all about precision, performance, and progress.
Scott loved the outdoors, whether it was maintaining his property or riding his motorcycles. He was generous to everyone, strangers and close friends alike. Scott was very humble and loved his family more than anything.
Surviving are: his sons, Gregory Scott DeLoach and his wife Naomi of North Carolina, Michael DeLoach and his wife Laurin of Summerville, Stephen Stanley of Summerville, and Nathan Stanley of Hampton; grandchildren, Grady, Natalie, Lucas, and Oliver; and his close friend, Dianne Walsh.
Graveside funeral services will be held 4 o’clock, Friday afternoon, September 19, 2025, at Johnson-St. Paul Cemetery, Hampton.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation Friday afternoon from 2 pm until 3:30 pm at THE BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOMES AND CREMATORY, VARNVILLE-HAMPTON CHAPEL, 1074 Yemassee Highway, Varnville, South Carolina, 29944. Visit the guestbook online at: www.briceherndonfuneralhome.com.
