Sara Grace

Mrs. Sara Eleanor Grace, 68, of Stephen Street, Williams, entered into her sate of eternal rest Thursday morning, July 1, 2010, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro following an extended illness.



Funeral services will be conducted 2 oclock Sunday afternoon, July 4, 2010, from Marion Baptist Church, 1810 George Warren Drive, Williams, with The Reverend Kenny Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Williams Cemetery, Williams. There will be a reception following the committal ceremony at the church, and the family has requested that all food offerings and fellowship be held to that time.



The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service at the church beginning at 1 oclock until the service hour.



Mrs. Grace was born October 22, 1941, in Jackson, Mississippi and was a daughter of the late Boyce H. Biggers and the late Melba Spain Biggers. She was a retired employee from the Department of Social Services in Walterboro and was a faithful member of Marion Baptist Church in Williams. At her church, she was a former Sunday School Teacher and was a member of the Womens Missionary Union, as well as various other committees and groups within the church.



Surviving are: her husband of forty-seven years; Mr. Joe Arthur Grace, Sr.; a daughter, Cyndi Grace Holland and her husband James of Cottageville; a brother, Manley Biggers of Nashville, Tennessee; and a sister, Charlotte Story of Spring Hill, Tennessee. There are four grandchildren, Kodey Holland, Austin Holland, Kevin Holland, and Megan Grace Millers. She was preceded in death by a son, Joe Arthur Grace, Jr.
