Sara Corbin

Ms. Sara Lee Corbin, 83, of Augusta, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Shadow Oak Assisted Living in Aiken.
A memorial service will be held 12 pm, Sunday, April 3, 2016 at First Christian Church, 629 Greene Street, Augusta, Georgia.
Born May 2, 1932 she was a daughter of the late James Matthew Corbin and Pauline Peeples Corbin. She was a member of First Christian Church in Augusta, where she was very active with the restoration of the church. She also enjoyed making pottery and reading Christian literature.
Surviving are: her brothers, James Franklin Corbin of Summerville, South Carolina and Kenneth Corbin of Varnville, South Carolina; many nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Kerry Witt and his wife Peggy of Atlanta, Georgia; and her best friends, Nila Wicker and Carol Ann Joe. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sally Witt and Edna Headly.
