Sandra Sliz

Sandra Faith Sliz, 70, of Ehrhardt, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Thursday morning, December 8, 2022, at Summerville Community Hospice House.

Ms. Sliz was born March 19, 1952, in Gastonia, South Carolina, she was the daughter to the late, James Edward Bowers and the late Betty Doris Elliott Bowers.

Sandra graduated with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and was a talented artist.  She was super intelligent and had the gift of gab when it came to intellectual and informative conversations.  Sandra for many years volunteered to help with the Special Olympics and worked as a healthcare provider for those with great disabilities.  She was a loved and liked person everywhere she went and shared that love and affection in return.  Sandra had a passion for Native American heritage, a hobby of crocheting, and possessed a love for animals, especially her cat Callie.

She is survived by: her brother, Chris Slieff and his wife, Michelle; lifelong-bestfriend, Carol Scott, friend and caretaker, Virginia Williams; her aunt, Candy Hughes (Charles); and nieces, Christina Slieff and Charlotte Slieff.  She is also survived by many cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her K-9 companion fur babies, Jimmy and Oliver.
