Sandra Evans

Mrs. Sandra Joyce Jackson Evans, age 72, of Walterboro, entered into rest Friday morning, October 21, 2016, at her daughter’s home in Estill.  She was the wife of the late Mr. Perry Evans.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, October 24, 2016, from the graveside at Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.

Born December 10, 1943, in Cayce, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Pauline Key Jackson.  She was a longtime seamstress and had worked for many years Self-Serv., Inc.  She was a member of Corinthian Baptist Church in Cayce and had also attended Hopewell First Baptist Church in Hampton.

Surviving are: five children, Joyce Ray and her husband Cliff of Claxton, Georgia, Donna Rosier and her husband Jackie, Jr. of Estill, Earl Hiott and his wife Terri of Walterboro, Teresa Bailey and her husband Scott of Walterboro, and Chris Morris of Walterboro; a brother, Teddy Jackson and his wife Peggy of Sally; ten grandchildren, Amanda, David John, Kaitlin, Alexandra, Marty Rhett, Megan, Emma, Anna, Adyn, and Ayla; and six great grandchildren.
