Samuel Leopard

Mr. Samuel Capers "Sammy" Leopard, 57, of Hanahan, South Carolina, died Monday, July 22, 2013.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Doctor's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Doctor's Creek Road, Walterboro, South Carolina.

Born on August 6, 1955 in Walterboro, South Carolina, he was the son of the late James Leopard and the late Ray Hiott Leopard. Sammy served in the United States Marine Corp and was a retired correctional officer with Lieber Correctional Institution. He was a member of American Legion Post 179.

He is survived by a loving family and a special friend, Renee M. Bedow.
