Sally Cartrette

Mrs. Sally Hinson Cartrette, 77, of Green Pond, entered into rest Friday, October 2, 2026, at her residence. She was the loving wife of the late Mr. Jason Paul Cartrette, Sr.

Born July 8, 1949 in North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Rossie Hinson and the late Reba Ward Hinson. She was a retired school bus driver for the Colleton Count School District. She will always be remembered for her love of working in her garden as well as her fascination of windchimes.

Surviving are: three sons, Jeffery G. Register of Ehrhardt, Sandy Register of Green Pond, and Justin Cartrette (Jessca) of Walterboro; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a beloved son, Jason Paul Cartrette, Jr.

A graveside funeral service will be held at Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro this coming week with details to be announced soon by Brice Herndon’s Walterboro Chapel.
