Biography

Mrs. Ruth Huff Davis, 82, formerly of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Monday, April 30, 2012.

Mrs. Davis was born November 22, 1929 in Colleton County and was a daughter of Frank T. Huff and Lillie Mae Hiers Huff. She loved gardening and working with her flowers and loved people.

Surviving are: her children, James "Junior" Hiers and his wife Judy of Walterboro, Herbert Hiers, Sr. and his wife Sharon of Walterboro, and Ann Holland and her husband Mike of Reevesville, GA; step-daughter, Mary Ann Hiers and her husband Louie of Varnville; brothers, Mack Huff of Macon, GA, K.D. Huff of Charleston, Eural Huff of Charleston, Monroe Huff of Tennessee, Andrew Huff of Tennessee and Clyde Huff of Tennessee; sisters, Eva Hiers of Lodge and Frances Mizzell of Walterboro; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Perry Huff, Charles Huff and Adam Huff.
